Is it permissible to perform Umrah while wearing the medical compression stocking prescribed by the doctor, which is worn in the morning and not removed until sleep?

The muhrim (a person in a state of ritual consecration for Hajj or Umrah (definition)) is forbidden from wearing khuffayn (leather slippers covering the ankles) or jawrabayn (socks) if sandals are available. However, if there is a need to wear socks or other forbidden sewn garments—for instance, due to heat, cold, or medical treatment—it is permissible, and fidyah (definition) (expiatory payment) becomes obligatory. The fidyah offers a choice between: fasting for three days, or feeding six poor persons (half a sa' of food for each poor person), or sacrificing a sheep.
