What is the ruling for someone who suffers from loss of bladder control and wishes to perform Umrah, and is it permissible to attach an external urinary catheter while performing ablution, and does it invalidate the ablution?

If a person suffers from urinary incontinence, he performs Umrah (definition) and protects himself by placing a cloth. He performs ablution (wudu') for each prayer after its time has begun, and prays both obligatory (fard) and supererogatory (nafl) prayers with that ablution. He also performs circumambulation (tawaf (definition)) with this ablution. The Malikis permit him to use a single ablution unless he intentionally nullifies it. His ablution is not invalidated by the end of the prayer time, and they do not obligate him to use a protective cloth. He may use a catheter, and he should do what a person with incontinence does, which is to perform ablution for each prayer according to the majority of scholars. A person with incontinence performs Umrah and all its rituals, but he should protect himself and perform ablution for the circumambulation (tawaf) after the time for prayer has begun.
