Is it permissible to marry a young man who drinks beer containing a very small percentage of alcohol not exceeding 1% or 2%, and who does not reach the point of intoxication, knowing that some scholars have permitted this?

If a beverage intoxicates in large quantities, then a small quantity of it is unlawful, regardless of whether that small quantity intoxicates or not, due to the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "That which intoxicates in large quantities, a small quantity of it is unlawful." Beer is forbidden in both small and large quantities if it intoxicates, because it is considered an intoxicant (khamr) in Islamic law.
