What is the ruling on zakat for jewelry that its owner wishes to sell in order to replace it with other jewelry for adornment, according to the Maliki school of thought?

If gold is for adornment, there is no zakat on it, even if its owner intends to sell it and replace it. This is according to the Maliki school of thought, as Imam Malik said: "On all jewelry that women acquire for wearing, there is no zakat due upon them for it."
