Is zakat obligatory on jewelry prepared for adornment in the Maliki school of thought, which is practiced in Morocco?

Permissible ornaments that a woman uses for adornment are not subject to Zakat, according to the majority of scholars, who cite the action of Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, as proof. As for prohibited ornaments, Zakat is obligatorily due on them without disagreement, whether they belong to a man or a woman, or whether they are for the purpose of mere possession.
