What is the interpretation of the questioner's feeling of perpetual sadness, successive calamities, the presence of insects in her house, her divorce, her illness, her inability to leave the house, and what she believes to be envy, especially since she has been suffering from these problems since she bought her current home?

One should not rush and overstate attributing problems to magic and envy. Rather, one must consider and address the apparent causes and not surrender to delusions. If a tribulation befalls a servant, he should blame himself and renew his repentance, for sins and transgressions are the cause of evil and calamity, as Allah Almighty said in the Hadith Qudsi: "O My servants, it is only your deeds that I record for you, and then I recompense you for them. So, whoever finds good, let him praise Allah, and whoever finds otherwise, let him not blame anyone but himself." When a tribulation strikes a believer, he blames himself and returns to Allah with repentance and seeking forgiveness. Therefore, a Muslim should renew his general repentance, adopt means of healing, clean his home, maintain the prescribed remembrances and permissible ruqyahs, and frequently seek forgiveness and supplicate.
