Is it permissible to read the Quran to test the mosque's loudspeakers?

There is no harm in reading the Qur’an through the mosque’s loudspeakers to test them, and this is not considered a desecration of the Qur’an. Umar raised his voice in recitation during the night prayer to awaken the sleeper and drive away Satan, as stated in the Hadith. The reciter should intend the act as a means of drawing closer to Allah, and the testing of the loudspeakers will then occur as a secondary outcome.
