Preparing forged medical documents is considered forgery and bearing false witness, which are among the major sins. Repentance is required, and the money taken unjustly must be returned. The employer should be informed of recovery to rectify the situation, and there is no obedience to a husband in disobeying the Creator. As for the money taken unjustly, if the institution is governmental, it should be spent on public Muslim interests. If it is private, and the owners agree to let you keep it, then it is a gift from them; otherwise, it must be returned to them.
