What is the measure of the Prophetic Sa‘ (Sa’ Nabawi) in ratl (pounds) and kilograms for giving out Zakat al-Fitr?

The Prophetic Sa' (Sa' an-Nabawi) is equal to four Mudds, and a Mudd is the fill of two moderate hands. Its estimation by weight varies depending on the type of food, and estimations have differed between 2040 and 2751 grams. However, the Permanent Committee for Issuing Fatwas in Saudi Arabia estimated it to be approximately three kilograms, and this is the preferred opinion. As for its estimation in Ratls (pounds), the Malikis, Shafi'is, and Hanbalis held that it is equal to five and one-third Iraqi Ratls, while the Hanafis held that it is equal to eight Iraqi Ratls. It is worth noting that determining the Sa' by Ratls has become difficult in our time.
