Is it sufficient to limit oneself to greeting one's parents with "peace" (Salam) to avoid disobeying them, especially when angry, after previous attempts to improve the relationship with them?

Disobeying parents is a grave sin and a major iniquity. You have done well in mending your relationship with your parents, but do not forget to offer sincere repentance for the past acts of disobedience, and seek their forgiveness and pardon. To cure the anger that leads you to disobedience, strive to avoid its causes. Seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan when angry, and adhere to the manners that dissipate anger. Beware of distancing yourself from them and avoiding their company, as this may hurt them and lead to disobedience.
