Is someone who conceals some details of their dream from the interpreter considered a liar in dreams?

Lying is to report something as other than what it is. Reporting part of a dream and concealing another part for a beneficial reason is not considered lying unless the concealed part specifies or qualifies the mentioned part, and its omission changes the meaning. It is permissible to conceal a dream sometimes for fear of envy or malicious plotting, as Jacob did with Joseph (peace be upon them both). It is not forbidden to conceal part of a report in a waking state for a beneficial reason. However, lying about a dream by mentioning something that did not occur is forbidden. Among the forms of lying about a dream is claiming to have seen what the sleeper did not see, or attributing something to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) that he did not say.
