What is the Qur'anic miraculousness?

The miraculous nature of the Quran lies in two aspects: The first is in its words, structures, and eloquence. Allah challenged the Arabs and jinn to produce anything like it, or even a single surah from it, but they failed to do so. The second is the scientific truths it contains, which were only discovered recently. Scholars have mentioned many facets of its miraculousness, including conciseness, clarity and eloquence, its organization, its distinction from the speech of Arabs despite its letters and meanings being from their language, the absence of boredom from its recitation and listening, its reporting of past events and knowledge of the unseen, and its compilation of numerous sciences. Some researchers believe that the miraculous nature encompasses all these aspects, in addition to its splendor and impact on hearts, its perpetual freshness, its combination of majesty and sweetness, and its dominance over previous scriptures. The Quran is miraculous in both its structure and meanings, and it has a great impact on souls, as Allah Almighty said: "Had We sent down this Quran upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and split apart from the fear of Allah."
