Is it permissible to hear the screaming and noise of children in the Sacred House of Allah (the Kaaba) or in any mosque?

There is no harm in bringing children to the mosque, as this occurred during the time of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. He, peace and blessings be upon him, would hear the crying of a child while he was praying, and he would shorten his prayer out of consideration for the child's mother. This indicates his approval of their presence and also shows that preventing children means preventing mothers from attending, thus depriving them of the benefits of mosque attendance, such as following the Imam in prayer and listening to knowledge.

There is no objection to carrying a child during prayer if there is a need for it, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, carried Umamah while he was praying. However, care should be taken to ensure the child is free from impurities.

If a woman will go out displaying her adornment (mutabarrijah) or wearing perfume (mutatayyibah), it is better for her to remain in her home, unless her going out brings a clear benefit, such as participating in activities during Ramadan nights, listening to knowledge, gaining benefit, and following the Imam in his prayer.
