Deliberately breaking the fast in Ramadan without a legitimate Shar'i excuse is a grave error and a violation of Allah Almighty's command: "Then complete the fast until the night." The doer must repent, frequently seek forgiveness, and perform righteous deeds. He must also make up for the days he broke his fast. The wife should advise him, remind him of Allah, and supplicate for his guidance.
