Does divorce occur if a man says to his wife, "You are divor-" without completing the word, and without intending divorce, but rather intending to deter her?

If a man says to his wife: "أنت طال" (anti taal), omitting the letter Qaf, then there is a difference of opinion among scholars regarding whether divorce occurs. Some consider it an explicit divorce, by which divorce occurs, while others consider it a metaphorical expression (kinayah) by which divorce does not occur except with intention. The preponderant view is that divorce does not occur with this wording without the intention of divorce.
