What is the cure for hardness of heart, and if a husband or wife dies while angry with the other, will the one who was the object of their anger be in Hellfire, and what should a wife do if her husband is hard-hearted and ill-tempered?

A woman who dies with her husband pleased with her will enter Paradise. The obedience of a wife to her husband and her acknowledgement of his rights are equivalent to jihad in the path of Allah. Her husband is her Paradise and her Hell, just as he is the person with the greatest right over her. If a wife angers her husband for an illegitimate reason, such as denying him his right to intimacy, she deserves to be held accountable and punished unless Allah forg
