What is the Al-Jarh wa al-Ta'deel (discrediting or accrediting) for Abu al-Nadr Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Yusuf al-Faqih and Abu Ali Salih bin Muhammad al-Baghdadi al-Hafiz?

Al-Dhahabi praised Abu al-Nadr al-Tusi, describing him as the Imam, the Hafiz, the Faqih, the Allamah, the exemplar, the Shaykh of Islam, and the Shaykh of the Madhhab in Khurasan. He also quoted Al-Hakim as saying that he was an Imam, a devout worshiper, highly eloquent, who fasted perpetually, prayed during the night, gave in charity whatever exceeded his basic needs, and enjoined good and forbade evil.

As for Abu Ali Salih ibn Muhammad, Al-Dhahabi described him in "Tadhkirat al-Huffaz" as the Hafiz, the Allamah, the reliable, the Shaykh of Transoxiana. He quoted Al-Daraqutni as saying that he was trustworthy, a Hafiz, and knowledgeable. Abu Sa'id al-Idrisi said: "I do not know anyone in the era of Salih, whether in Iraq or Khurasan, who was his equal in memorization."
