The two noble verses in An-Najm (53:45-46) state that Allah created the two genders (male and female) from a drop of semen (nutfa). The word "tumna" (تُمْنَى) means "poured and discharged into the womb," which is the more accurate interpretation according to Al-Shanqeeti. While others believe that "tumna" means "to be decreed," i.e., Allah decrees that a pregnancy will result from it.
