What is the ruling on money earned from smuggling infiltrators, foodstuffs, livestock, and tobacco, and from paying bribes using a truck not owned by the questioner, and is it permissible to marry with this money?

Whoever acquires wealth through unlawful means must repent to Allah by ceasing the act, regretting it, and resolving not to return to it. Part of perfecting this repentance is to dispose of the wealth by spending it on general Muslim welfare and charitable causes. The use, sale, and transport of cigarettes are unlawful. Smuggling infiltrators, foodstuffs, and livestock is unlawful if the prohibition is for a legitimate Sharia-compliant interest, and what is acquired from it is unlawful. However, if the prohibition is for monopolization, there is no harm in it, as long as it does not expose the doer to danger.
