How can one draw closer to Allah and cease to be concerned with people's opinions and shyness of them, especially regarding modest Islamic dress and abandoning fashion?

Among the things that help a Muslim woman adhere to the prescribed Islamic dress and prioritize Allah's pleasure over the pleasure of others are: realizing that Allah alone rewards and punishes, and that His pleasure is eternal bliss while His displeasure is eternal misery. She should also know that death is coming, and accountability is approaching, and that she will enter her grave alone and stand for reckoning alone, and people will not benefit her then. And if she pleases her Lord, she will gain His pleasure and the pleasure of creation. She should reflect on the Day of Judgment and its terrors, associate with righteous women, and resort to remembrance of Allah (dhikr), supplication (du'a), and asking Allah for steadfastness in His religion and obedience to Him.
