Does greeting an oppressor in the Haram negate the supplication against him, or is the supplication answered even if he is greeted or given gifts?

The supplication of the oppressed is answered if the conditions are met and the impediments are absent. Many hadiths attest to this, among them the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Three supplications are undoubtedly answered: the supplication of the oppressed, the supplication of the traveler, and the supplication of a parent against their child," and his saying: "Beware of the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no barrier between it and Allah." Furthermore, the supplication of the oppressed is answered even if the oppressed person is an evildoer. It is not an impediment to the answering of their supplication if they greet their oppressor or give them a gift; however, forgiveness and forbearance are more virtuous.
