Is it permissible to remove the clitoris to help prevent masturbation, especially when there is no intention of marriage?

Allah created the desire for intercourse for great benefits, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade celibacy, castration, and anything that completely severs desire or offspring. It is permissible to lessen desire, but not to sever it. Completely removing the clitoris is not permissible; what is legislated is to remove a part of it to achieve moderation of desire. Your resolve not to marry is misplaced, for marriage is obligatory or recommended for young people, and it is an act of obedience to Allah that protects from sin.
