What supplications should a suitor say for himself concerning his righteous fiancée? Is it permissible for the suitor and fiancée to agree to supplicate at the same time and place? Is it permissible for them to pray in congregation in one of their homes with a محرم present? And is it permissible to see a full picture of the veiled fiancée, or only a picture of her face?

There is no specific [Prophetic] supplication (du'a) authentically reported for this matter. However, comprehensive supplications for the good of both this world and the Hereafter, such as: "Our Lord, grant us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire," and "O Allah, set right my religion for me...", include this. A Muslim may supplicate with whatever he wishes, as long as it is not a sin or severing ties of kinship. Allah is near and answers whoever calls upon Him. There is no objection to the engaged couple supplicating together with a specific supplication, and it is best to supplicate during times when prayers are answered. The engaged woman is still a non-mahram (stranger), and it is not permissible to contact her in any way until the marriage contract is concluded.
