What should I do about my husband who deals in alcohol and does not pray, and am I sinful for eating and drinking from his money, and what is the ruling on my supplication and charity?

Inviting people to goodness and warning them against evil is one of the best deeds and acts of worship. The reluctance of family members to adhere to religion is not an excuse to abandon da'wah (inviting to Islam), for many messengers had those among them who did not respond to their call, such as Nuh's son and wife, and Lut's wife. The da'i (caller to Islam) must continue to be patient, offer advice, make abundant supplications for guidance, and vary their methods of da'wah. Spending from a husband's unlawfully acquired money is permissible for essential sustenance only; however, giving charity from it is not accepted. If the husband abandons prayer out of denial, he is an apostate, and the marital bond between them is severed.
