Is a prayer valid if performed behind a foolish person who calls the adhan and iqamah, but is unaware of certain matters, and there is doubt concerning his purity and ritual bath?

For the adhan and iqamah to be valid, the muezzin must be a discerning individual. A discerning individual is one who understands discourse and responds appropriately, and this is not fixed by a specific age. If a person is discerning, their adhan and iqamah are valid, and it is recommended that they be in a state of purity. However, if they are not discerning, their adhan and iqamah are not recognized. Nevertheless, the invalidity of the adhan or iqamah does not affect the validity of the prayer itself.
