How will the Jews believe in our master Jesus, peace be upon him, upon his descent, even though the Muslims will kill them?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

Muslims await the true Messiah, Christians await the imagined Messiah, and Jews await the Antichrist (Dajjal), whom seventy thousand Jews from Isfahan will follow, and whom Jesus son of Mary will destroy. It is also authentically reported from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, that the Jews will fight the Muslims, and the Muslims will be given power over them, to the extent that stones and trees will speak, saying: "O Muslim, there is a Jew behind me, so kill him," except for the Gharqad tree.

Upon the descent of Jesus, peace be upon him, he will kill the Antichrist, break the cross, and accept nothing from people but Islam; no jizya (tribute tax) will be accepted. Then Jesus, peace be upon him, will not die until all the People of the Book have believed in him. It has been stated in the interpretation of the verse: (And there is none of the People of the Book but that he will surely believe in him before his death), that the pronoun in "his death" refers to Jesus, peace be upon him, meaning the belief of the People of the Book in Jesus before his death when he descends at the end of time.
