Does a mother's anger at her child transfer to her grandchildren, and how can this anger be dispelled if they have not seen their grandmother?

A mother's anger towards her son has no bearing on the son's children, for Allah Almighty says: "And every soul earns not [consequences] except upon itself, and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another." The children should fulfill their duties, avoid forbidden acts, and frequently seek forgiveness for their father. It is not permissible to anger one's parents, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The Lord's pleasure is in the parents' pleasure, and His displeasure is in the parents' displeasure."
