One must control oneself, observe proper manners, and lower one's voice when speaking with parents. Raising one's voice at them is an act of disobedience (uquq), but it does not affect the acceptance of one's deeds. Obeying parents in serving their grandchild is obligatory if the service is permissible, does not cause harm, and if they have a legitimate purpose.
