Does memorizing Surat Al-Baqarah protect one from the evil eye, envy, and magic, or must it be recited in the home, and to what extent?

Texts have been narrated regarding repelling the evil of devils and sorcerers by reading and reciting Surat Al-Baqarah, not merely by memorizing it. No text has specified a certain number of times for its recitation. Its virtue has been established in expelling devils from the house in which it is recited and in rendering sorcerers unable to harm it, due to the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Do not make your houses graves, for indeed Satan flees from the house in which Surat Al-Baqarah is recited," and his saying: "Recite Surat Al-Baqarah, for taking it is a blessing, and leaving it is regret, and the sorcerers cannot overpower it." Taking it means being diligent in its recitation and acting upon it, which brings blessing, increase, and growth.
