Satan is expelled from a house in which Surat Al-Baqarah is recited, and he does not enter it for three nights if it is recited therein at night. The intention is to recite the entire surah to protect the house. As for reciting it for ruqyah and treatment from the evil eye, envy, and magic, we hope for its benefit, whether it is recited inside or outside the house, because taking it is a blessing and abandoning it is a regret, and sorcerers cannot withstand it.
