Can Fatwa no. 6372 be amended or deleted, given that there is an objection to the interpretation of the words of Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah and their attribution to Zakat al-Fitr, which suggests the permissibility of paying it in cash, contrary to what was narrated from Imam Ahmad?

There are multiple narrations from Imam Ahmad regarding giving value (qimah) in Zakat: The relied-upon position in the madhhab is that it is absolutely not sufficient, another narration states that it is absolutely sufficient, a third states that it is sufficient in other than Zakat al-Fitr, and a fourth states that it is sufficient out of need and for the sake of benefit (maslahah), which is the position chosen by Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah. Al-Mardawi mentioned these narrations in detail in "Al-Insaf," clarifying that the madhhab holds that giving value is absolutely impermissible, but there are other opinions that permit it out of need or for the sake of benefit.
