What is the flaw that prevents achieving good thoughts about Allah when prayers are not answered despite certainty, and how can one differentiate between punishment and tribulation to attain patience and contentment, and the saying, "If You are not angry with me, then I do not care"?

Having a good opinion of Allah is achieved by knowing Allah’s names, attributes, and wisdom in giving and withholding, by avoiding sins and repenting from them, by performing good deeds and having hope, and by recognizing Allah’s generosity and immense giving. The successful Muslim has a good opinion of his Lord in times of ease and hardship, and knows that tribulation is a test of faith and patience, and that the answer to prayer may not be in the fulfillment of what was requested.
