Is it permissible for a Muslim to drive a taxi when there is a possibility of being alone with a non-mahram woman?

A man is not permitted to be alone with a foreign woman in any place, because Satan will be the third between them and will lead them into sin. Jurists have agreed on the prohibition of khalwa (private seclusion) with a foreign woman. A man is not permitted to be alone with a woman even if he is teaching her the Qur'an or leading her in prayer when they are by themselves. The criterion for prohibited khalwa is the concealment of their persons from people. A taxi driver should not be alone with a foreign woman, as this may lead to unlawful conversations or actions. Islamic law blocks the avenues of evil that lead to the forbidden, and it is obligatory to completely refrain from khalwa between a man and a foreign woman, except in cases of extreme necessity such as emergency medical assistance.
