Is it permissible to act according to the Maliki opinion concerning the ablution (wudu') of a person with urinary incontinence (sahib al-sils) outside the home due to necessity, while acting according to the opinion of the majority (jumhur) inside the home, and what is the ruling on that?

It is not obligatory to repeat the head covering and the reservation for every prayer according to the Hanbalis, and this removes hardship. Wudu (ablution) must be performed for every prayer after its time has begun, and this is the view of the majority of scholars, and it is more cautious. However, in cases of extreme difficulty, it is permissible to adopt the view of the Malikis and Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah that continuous impurity (from a chronic condition) does not invalidate wudu, unless the usual discharge occurs in a healthy manner. It is permissible to adopt the dispensations of scholars when there is a need, and not as a habit.
