What is meant by God's names and attributes being included in His name "Allah"? And does the worship of Allah entail worshipping Him by His essence and attributes together, such as the attribute of Allah's descent?

Allah the Almighty is One, possessing the Most Beautiful Names and the Most Exalted Attributes. Whoever worships Him worships a single Being, characterized by His attributes and named by His names. Thus, when one supplicates to Him, one supplicates to Him through His names that indicate His essence and attributes, not by His attribute in isolation. However, one may seek intercession through His attributes, seek refuge in them, and swear by them. Allah’s attributes are of two types: essential attributes that are not related to His Will, such as Knowledge and Power; and active attributes that are related to His Will, such as His descent to the lowest heaven. We advise the questioner to stop pondering over the minute details of matters related to obsessive thoughts and to turn away from troubling thoughts.
