What is the ruling on altering Surat Al-Fil to: "Have you not seen how your Lord dealt with the owners of the eggs? Did He not make their plot in demolition? And He sent against them the hawks of Tawhid and dark, valiant cheetahs, turning them into scattered cowards in every exile?"

It is not permissible to mock the Quran or violate its sanctity. The author of the article who mixes verses of the Quran with his own words is in grave danger and must repent. The newspaper must also prevent such writings and purify the word of Allah from being used in sarcasm and mockery, for the Quran is far too sublime and magnificent for that.
