It is stated in the noble Hadith that angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or a picture. It is forbidden to photograph or possess three-dimensional images of animate beings, due to the texts that prohibit angels from entering such houses, and because possessing them encourages this reprehensible act. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "And who is more unjust than one who goes to create a creation like My creation?" and "The most severely punished people on the Day of Resurrection will be those who imitate the creation of Allah." A Muslim must remove these images from his house, and he is permitted to adorn it with pictures and models of inanimate objects.
