How can one stop thinking about marriage, especially since such thoughts may lead to drifting towards what is forbidden, and how can one overcome the isolation and deviant thoughts that appear after finishing the recitation of the Holy Quran?

Marriage is an innate instinct and a great benefit for protecting oneself from the forbidden. Among its advantages are curbing the harms of lust, increasing progeny, ensuring the continuation of the human species, and it is a means to wealth. One should strive for it, but if it is not possible, then fasting is the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) recommendation. One should also occupy oneself with what is beneficial and keep good company. As for having a girlfriend, it is forbidden and leads to temptation and Allah's wrath; it is a malady without a cure. Whoever fears for their religion from temptation in non-Islamic countries must emigrate.
