What is the authenticity of reciting specific verses and surahs in the morning and evening?

The entire Holy Quran is good and blessed, but specifying certain surahs or verses and reciting them at a particular time requires evidence from the Sunnah. It has not been reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) recited the mentioned verses in the morning or evening, nor that he encouraged his companions to do so. Therefore, specifying and reciting them in the morning or evening is not from the Sunnah; rather, it is an innovation (bid'ah). Indeed, there are verses and remembrances (adhkar) that are authentically established in the Sunnah to be recited in the morning and evening.
