What is the ruling on money acquired by a person through unlawful means and bribes, if he then repents and donates from it to a mosque, and does the ruling on his house, cars, and buildings purchased with this money remain unlawful?

If someone possesses unlawful wealth acquired through theft or usurpation, they must repent and return the money to its owner or their heirs. If this is not possible, they should give it as charity on their behalf. However, if the wealth was obtained through bribes or corrupt contracts, it should not be returned to the giver. Instead, it should be given as charity to the poor and needy or for general charitable causes. If the nature of these contracts and bribes changed, their value on the day they changed should be assessed, and that amount should be spent on the poor and for the general welfare of Muslims.
