Is the hadith that states rain is sent down only for the sake of animals applicable solely to the Muslim world? And what is the reason for the abundance of rain in Europe despite their disobedience, and its scarcity in Africa despite the multitude of animals? Does this hadith contradict modern climatic classifications? And is this hadith unauthentic or fabricated?

Allah is the Distributor of provisions, and the descent of rain upon disbelievers is not an indication of their honor with Allah. The noble Hadith clarifies that withholding Zakat may lead to the withholding of rain, and that the presence of animals is a reason for its descent, out of mercy for them. Allah punishes His servants with trials and misfortunes due to sins, and the alteration of blessings occurs by changing what is within the souls. Istidraj (gradual enticement) is Allah giving disbelievers worldly provisions despite their disobedience, then seizing them suddenly. Believers are tested in this world to hasten their punishment before the Hereafter.
