Is a person who curses the Divine Being after returning from Hajj considered an apostate, and is their Hajj invalidated, and what should they do to atone for their sin?

The jurists differed on the ruling concerning one who performed Hajj, then apostatized, then repented. The Malikis, Hanafis, and some Hanbalis held that Hajj must be re-performed, while the Shafi'is and the majority of Hanbalis held that it is not obligatory to re-perform it. The difference of opinion stems from the interpretation of the Almighty's saying: "If you associate [anything] with Allah, surely your work will be annulled." The Shafi'is believe that the annulling of deeds is conditioned upon apostasy and dying upon it, based on the Almighty's saying: "And whoever of you reverts from his religion and dies while he is a disbeliever – then those have annulled their deeds." The more preponderant opinion is that he is not required to re-perform Hajj if he had already performed it.
