What is the ruling on brown and yellow discharges that appear one day after the cessation of menstrual bleeding, and are they considered menstruation?

What you see of brown or yellow discharge after the cessation of blood and the sign of purity is not considered menstruation, because yellowish and brownish discharges are not considered menstruation unless they occur during the habitual period or are connected to blood. You must purify yourself and perform ablution when they appear. If they continue throughout the prayer time, then perform ablution after the entry of the prayer time and pray the obligatory prayer and whatever supererogatory prayers you wish with this ablution, just as a woman with prolonged non-menstrual bleeding (istihadha) or one with urinary incontinence ( سلس) would do.
