Was she who relied on the hadith: "Whoever seeks chastity, Allah will make him chaste," for the chastity of her private parts mistaken, and does this mean that whoever seeks chastity – the chastity of the private parts – Allah will not make him chaste, and are there any legal texts that support Allah's protection and aid for the one who seeks chastity in this regard?

There is no basis for despair concerning understanding the meaning of the hadith about 'iffah (chastity). The previous answer distinguished between 'iffah regarding wealth and 'iffah regarding desires. Many people refrain from unlawful and suspicious wealth, whereas the desire for women or forbidden gazing (the zina of the eye) can be expiated by good deeds and sincere repentance.

As for the 'iffah of the private parts from zina (fornication/adultery), it is attainable for many, and the previous fatwa explicitly mentioned the difference between it and the 'iffah of the heart and other limbs.

The questioner's statement that whoever is chaste regarding their private parts will not be made chaste by Allah is incorrect. Imam Ibn Uthaymeen, in his explanation of the hadith, focused on the 'iffah of the private parts, while the majority of scholars focused on the 'iffah of wealth.

Allah the Almighty emphasizes in the Noble Qur'an the necessity of abstaining for those who do not find means to marry until Allah enriches them from His bounty. Scholars have interpreted this as seeking chastity from zina.

And in the Hadith: "Guarantee me six things from yourselves, and I will guarantee you Paradise: Be truthful when you speak, fulfill your promises when you make them, render trusts when you are entrusted, guard your private parts, lower your gaze, and restrain your hands."

And likewise, his ﷺ saying: "Three people Allah is obligated to help: the fighter in the cause of Allah, the indentured servant who desires to pay off his freedom, and the one who marries seeking chastity."

Moreover, whoever abandons something for the sake of Allah the Almighty, Allah will replace it with something better. And whoever strives to attain good, Allah will grant it to him, and whoever avoids evil will be protected from it.
