Whoever commits one of the prohibited acts during that necessitates an expiation () with options, or neglects a mandatory rite () of the pilgrimage whose omission is compensated by a sacrificial animal (dam), must hasten to discharge the expiation or the sacrificial animal that became obligatory upon him. He is not permitted to delay if he was deliberately violating the rules.
If he delays performing what became obligatory upon him, he is sinful for this delay. However, the expiation or the sacrificial animal does not multiply.
