Is it permissible to pay the expiation for two oaths—feeding 20 needy persons—from the fidyah (slaughtering a goat) designated as an offering of gratitude after surviving an accident, or must the needy be fed first, and the fidyah be offered later?

Frequent oath-taking is reprehensible in Islamic law. Your fasting for the first expiation is sufficient if you were unable to feed ten poor people or clothe them. You now owe two expiations for repeatedly breaking your oath. Slaughtering a sheep as an act of gratitude to Allah for deliverance is recommended; it is an act of worship designated for what it was intended, and it is not permissible to feed from it with the intention of fulfilling the obligatory expiation for an oath.
