What should I do if I doubt the number of Tasbeehat in Salatul Tasbeeh; should I build upon the lesser number, or what?

Scholars have differed regarding the permissibility of Salatul Tasabih (the prayer of glorifications), and the most preponderant opinion is that it is permissible. Whoever doubts the number of glorifications should base their decision on the lesser number and complete what they are unsure of, unless the doubt reaches the level of obsessive whispering (waswasah), in which case they should disregard it.
