Must one make up the Dhuhr and Asr prayers if one performs ghusl from menstruation after Asr and finishes after the Maghrib adhan?

If a menstruating woman becomes pure before the time for a prayer expires, that prayer becomes obligatory upon her. If this prayer is combined with the one preceding it, then both prayers become obligatory upon her. For example, if a woman becomes pure moments before Maghrib, then the Dhuhr and Asr prayers become obligatory upon her. The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) issued rulings to this effect. Many scholars are of the opinion that the condition of performing a complete rak'ah is not necessary; rather, whenever she becomes pure before the time expires, even if it is by the duration of a single takbir, that prayer becomes obligatory upon her. It is not a condition to have enough time to perform purification, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever catches one rak'ah of the prayer has caught the prayer." This is the soundest opinion according to the Shafi'is.
