The answer

A woman knows she has become pure by one of two signs: dryness (when a cotton swab comes out clean), or al-Qassah al-Bayda' (a thin, white discharge).

If the bleeding stops after the time for Asr prayer has begun, she must perform ghusl and pray Dhuhr and Asr. She must also immediately make up any missed prayers (Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha) if possible. If time is short and only sufficient for the present obligatory prayer, then it must be given precedence over the missed prayers.
