What should I do, as people have wronged me and friends have disowned me because I am honorable and do not speak with women?

A Muslim is keen on earning Allah's love and pleasure. If he attains His love, then what he misses of people's love does not harm him. If people's turning away is due to adhering to Allah's command, then this is the state of the strangers. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, Islam began as a stranger and will return as a stranger as it began. So blessed are the strangers." A Muslim is warned against agreeing with people in their mistakes and sins to gain their satisfaction. For whoever pleases Allah by displeasing people, Allah will be pleased with him. And whoever displeases Allah to please people, Allah will entrust him to them. Furthermore, one must beware of associating with disobedient people, for a person is on the religion of his companion. They must also endure people's hatred and invite them to goodness, and they must associate with people of faith and good character. Allah Almighty says: "And keep yourself patient with those who call upon their Lord morning and evening, seeking His countenance. And let not your eyes pass beyond them, desiring the adornments of the worldly life, and do not obey one whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance and who follows his desire and whose affair has been a boundless transgression."
